Opportunity Details

Ukrainian Shoe Project

Changing Footprints (North Indy), collects-sorts-redistributes quality used shoes to those in need. We are going to sort and pack 5,000 pairs of shoes to be sent to Ukraine (our second shipment) through MISSION TO UKRAINE, a Noblesville nonprofit.
Our sorting room can fit 30 volunteers at a time and is equipped with medical-grade air filtration. We have a ramp, elevator, and folding chairs for those who need them. We are wheelchair-friendly and have some projects that young children can participate in. Children 5 and older can easily and enjoyable pair shoes.

FYI, 70% of the shoes we sort stay right here in Indianapolis, given to 100 different organizations such as Wheeler Mission, Dress for Success, Horizon House, Salvation Army, and multiple domestic abuse shelters.

Masks are welcome but not required.
