DREAM Alive - DREAM Coach (1:1 Mentor)
DREAM Coach (1:1 Mentor) – Mentors are those who are willing to come alongside a scholar, build a relationship with them, and intentionally connect with them. We have seen the drastic difference that a mentor can have on a student's trajectory in life as well as the impact it can have on the volunteer as well. We are looking for volunteers who are willing and able to connect with a high school scholar for at least 2 hours a month for a school year (9 months). We believe that mentoring is an important indicator of success for a high school student. Join in and learn what it means to help change a life with DREAM Alive.
Commitment: School year commitment (August-May)
Time: Consistently meet with a scholar at least 2 hours a month by attending DREAM Alive events and meeting outside of school to build a relationship with a scholar.
Requirement: Volunteers need to be 19 years old. We require a background check for all volunteer opportunities.
